Schedules that survive the week

Leave white space. A timetable packed edge to edge breaks the first time a meeting runs over. Block travel time explicitly, keep one unscheduled hour a day and put your hardest work where your energy is highest (for most people, the morning).

Students: print it portrait on A4 and colour each subject with a highlighter. Shift workers: set the first hour to 0 and the last to 24 for a full-day view.

Questions

How do I add blocks to the schedule?

Type one block per line as days, time range and a label, for example "Mon-Fri 9:00-12:00 Deep work" or "Tue,Thu 6pm-7:30pm Class". Days can be single (Mon), lists (Mon,Wed), ranges (Mon-Fri), Weekdays, Weekend or Daily.

What does "Draft with AI" do?

Describe your week in plain words (shifts, classes, kids' activities, workouts) and an AI model writes the block lines for you in the format above. You can change any line before printing. Only your short description is sent; nothing is stored.

Can I show 15-minute slots?

Yes. Choose 15 minutes as the slot length. On Letter or A4 landscape this stays readable for about a 10-hour day; for a longer day use 30-minute slots.

Should I choose Letter or A4?

Pick the paper that is actually in your printer. US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) is standard in the US, Canada and parts of Latin America; A4 (210 × 297 mm) is standard almost everywhere else. The PDF page is built at the exact size you choose, so print it at 100% or "Actual size" rather than "Fit to page".

Why is there a margin around the page?

Most home inkjet and laser printers cannot print right to the edge of the sheet; they leave roughly 3–6 mm unprinted. A margin of 10–13 mm keeps every line on the paper. Drop it to 6 mm if your printer supports borderless printing.
