Blank calendar or dated?
Dated calendars put each number in the right weekday box for the year you choose, and grey out the leading and trailing cells. Use them for a wall calendar, a school term or a family schedule.
Blank calendars skip the numbers so the same page works for any month. They’re handy for kids learning the calendar, for templates you photocopy, or for months you haven’t reached yet. Leave the title empty to get a write-in line.
Landscape gives the widest boxes for writing appointments. Portrait suits a clipboard or a binder.

With a 12 mm margin and the notes strip turned off. Turn the notes strip on and each box loses about a sixth of its height.
Questions
How do I make a blank monthly calendar?
Untick "Print dates". You get a 5-row grid with weekday headings and no numbers, plus an empty title line to write the month on. Set "Number of months" to 12 for a whole undated year.
Which holidays are included?
US federal holidays (New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas) or England & Wales bank holidays, including Good Friday and Easter Monday calculated for the year. Dates are the holiday itself; when one falls on a weekend the day off may move to the Friday or Monday.
Why do some months have six rows?
A month needs six rows when its first day falls late in the week and it has enough days to spill past the fifth row. With a Sunday start, a 31-day month beginning on Friday or Saturday, or a 30-day month beginning on Saturday, needs six rows.
Is it really free, with no account?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no watermark. The PDF is assembled in your own browser, so nothing you type is uploaded unless you press "Draft with AI", which sends only the short description you wrote.
Should I choose Letter or A4?
Pick the paper that is actually in your printer. US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) is standard in the US, Canada and parts of Latin America; A4 (210 × 297 mm) is standard almost everywhere else. The PDF page is built at the exact size you choose, so print it at 100% or "Actual size" rather than "Fit to page".
Why is there a margin around the page?
Most home inkjet and laser printers cannot print right to the edge of the sheet; they leave roughly 3–6 mm unprinted. A margin of 10–13 mm keeps every line on the paper. Drop it to 6 mm if your printer supports borderless printing.
Can I print it for a binder or a smaller planner?
Choose A5 or Half Letter for a pocket or discbound planner, or print Letter/A4 and use your printer's "2 pages per sheet" option. Leave a margin of at least 15 mm if you will hole-punch the pages.
