Printable meal planner
Seven days by breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, with a grocery list down the side. Fill it by hand on the fridge, or type your plan and print it ready-made.
Print at 100% / Actual size on US Letter paper. Your settings stay in this browser only.
Plan the week in fifteen minutes
- Check the calendar. Late nights and practice evenings get the quickest meals or leftovers.
- Shop your cupboard first. Build one or two meals around what needs using up.
- Cook once, eat twice. A big pot on Sunday becomes Monday’s lunch.
- Write the grocery list from the grid. Walk through each day and note what’s missing, grouped by aisle.
Questions
Can I change which meals appear?
Yes. Edit the "Meals" box: one row per line, up to six. Use "Dinner" only for a simple dinner calendar, or add "Lunchbox" and "Snacks" for school weeks.
How do I pre-fill dishes?
Type lines like "Mon Dinner: Lentil soup". Add a line "## Grocery" and list items below it to fill the grocery column. Or describe your household in "Draft with AI" and it writes both for you.
Does the AI know my allergies?
Only what you type, and it can make mistakes. Always check ingredients yourself if anyone at home has an allergy or a medical diet.
Should I choose Letter or A4?
Pick the paper that is actually in your printer. US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) is standard in the US, Canada and parts of Latin America; A4 (210 × 297 mm) is standard almost everywhere else. The PDF page is built at the exact size you choose, so print it at 100% or "Actual size" rather than "Fit to page".
Why is there a margin around the page?
Most home inkjet and laser printers cannot print right to the edge of the sheet; they leave roughly 3–6 mm unprinted. A margin of 10–13 mm keeps every line on the paper. Drop it to 6 mm if your printer supports borderless printing.
