To do list template
Checkboxes and lines, in one, two or three columns, with optional sections and a priority box. Type tasks to print them, or leave it blank to fill by hand.
Print at 100% / Actual size on US Letter paper. Your settings stay in this browser only.
A to-do list that gets done
Start each task with a verb (“Call the dentist”, not “Dentist”): the next physical action is then obvious. Anything bigger than an hour or two is a project, so break it into steps. Keep one list per context: work, home, errands. Then you’re never scanning chores you can’t do from where you are.
Questions
How do I split the list into sections?
Type section names in "Section headings", one per line, or start a line in the tasks box with "## " (for example "## Errands") to begin a new section. Sections are spread across the columns you choose.
What is the priority column for?
It adds a small box beside each task where you can write A, B or C. Do all the A tasks before any B tasks; C tasks are the ones you could drop.
Can AI turn a messy brain-dump into a list?
Yes. Paste or describe everything on your mind into "Draft with AI" and it returns grouped, verb-first tasks you can edit before printing.
Should I choose Letter or A4?
Pick the paper that is actually in your printer. US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) is standard in the US, Canada and parts of Latin America; A4 (210 × 297 mm) is standard almost everywhere else. The PDF page is built at the exact size you choose, so print it at 100% or "Actual size" rather than "Fit to page".
Why is there a margin around the page?
Most home inkjet and laser printers cannot print right to the edge of the sheet; they leave roughly 3–6 mm unprinted. A margin of 10–13 mm keeps every line on the paper. Drop it to 6 mm if your printer supports borderless printing.
