Weekly planner template
One page per week with room for every day, a priorities list and notes. Date it from any week you like, or leave it undated and reuse it.
Print at 100% / Actual size on US Letter paper. Your settings stay in this browser only.
How to use a weekly planner page
Fill it in on Sunday evening or Monday morning. Write fixed commitments first (appointments, classes, pickups), then choose no more than three priorities for the week. Put each priority on a specific day, so it has a time and not only a wish. At the end of the week, move anything unfinished to next week’s page before recycling this one.
Printing several weeks at once? Pick any date in the first week and set the number of weeks. Each page gets its own dates, and the week number follows the ISO standard.
Questions
Which layout should I choose?
7 columns (landscape) reads like a desk pad and gives each day a tall column. Day boxes (2 × 4) put the eighth box to work as priorities and notes, which suits portrait and binders. Stacked rows give each day a wide strip, good for long task names.
Can I print a whole year of weekly pages?
Yes. Set "Number of weeks" up to 53 and the PDF contains one page per week, each headed with its ISO week number and date range.
What does the week number mean?
It is the ISO-8601 week number used in most of Europe and in business planning: weeks start on Monday and week 1 is the week that contains the year's first Thursday. The calendar grid guide on this site shows why.
Should I choose Letter or A4?
Pick the paper that is actually in your printer. US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) is standard in the US, Canada and parts of Latin America; A4 (210 × 297 mm) is standard almost everywhere else. The PDF page is built at the exact size you choose, so print it at 100% or "Actual size" rather than "Fit to page".
Why is there a margin around the page?
Most home inkjet and laser printers cannot print right to the edge of the sheet; they leave roughly 3–6 mm unprinted. A margin of 10–13 mm keeps every line on the paper. Drop it to 6 mm if your printer supports borderless printing.
Can I print it for a binder or a smaller planner?
Choose A5 or Half Letter for a pocket or discbound planner, or print Letter/A4 and use your printer's "2 pages per sheet" option. Leave a margin of at least 15 mm if you will hole-punch the pages.
